Navy Agniveer (MR) Shortlisting Process
Shortlisting of candidates will be on the basis of aggregate percentage marks obtained in Matriculation (10th). Agniveer (MR) – Shortlisting for men and women will be done in a state wise manner in the ratio of four times the number of vacancies. The cut off marks for shortlisting may vary from state to state. Shortlisted candidates will be issued call letters for written test and Physical Efficiency Test (PFT). Aadhar card is mandatory for written test and PFT.
Agniveer MR Merit List
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination, provided the candidate must qualify in Physical Efficiency Test (PFT). Agniveer (MR) – The merit list for male candidates will be prepared state wise and the cut off marks for recruitment medical examination to be held at Chilka for recruitment may differ from state to state. Agniveer (MR) – Merit list for female candidates will be prepared in an all India manner. If the candidates obtain the same cut off marks in the written examination, then the candidates with higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (Class 10th) will be considered for INSOL. Recruitment in Chilka will be selected for Medical Examination.
Length of Service for Agniveer MR
Agniveers will be enrolled in the Indian Navy under the Navy Act 1957 for a period of four years. The rank of Agniveers will be different from the existing ranks. The Indian Navy is not obliged to retain Agniveers in service after four years of service.
Salary Allowances and Related Benefits for Agniveer MR
Agniveers will be paid a package of Rs.30,000/- per month with a fixed annual increment . In addition risk, hardship, dress and traveling allowance will be paid.
Navy Agniveer MR Service Fund
On completion of the period of service, Agniveers will be given a one time retirement package, which will include their monthly contribution as well as equal contribution by the government, as shown below

Any correction in the online application will have to be made by the candidate before the last date of submission of online application. No correction or update will be possible after the last date of submission of application. If the particulars filled by the candidates in the online application are found to be incorrect at any stage of recruitment, their candidature will be cancelled.
